Expansion of the Windows remote desktop servers (terminal servers) of the RHRK - Shutdown of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Until April 23, 2021, we will be restructuring our Windows remote server landscape. The terminal server farm will be enlarged and the scope of the software provided expanded. The provision of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) will be discontinued in return.

The provision of special management software will continue via Citrix. There will be no changes here.

In order to access your familiar personal Windows desktop remotely, the remote desktop server (terminal server) "ts-stud.uni-kl.de" will be available to students after the conversion. Employees will continue to log on to "ts.uni-kl.de".

Of course, we will do everything possible to minimize any possible restrictions for you during the restructuring phase.
