LibreTranslate

LibreTranslate is an open source translation platform that can translate individual words, entire sentences or complete documents from the source language into other languages.

Unlike frequently used translation services that are not hosted at RPTU itself, no user data is collected and the texts are not analyzed for other purposes. LibreTranslate is therefore a data protection-compliant alternative when it comes to sensitive official content.

The RHRZ provides LibreTranslate as a web-based service.

It is easy to use. Simply enter the source text in the left-hand field and the translation will automatically appear on the right-hand side. Above the right-hand text field, you can choose from numerous target languages.

Registration is not required.
